Grown by quality and innovations: Aerzener Maschinenfabrik GmbH

1864

The Aerzener Maschinenfabrik is founded by the banker and graduated businessman Adolph Meyer

1867

Establishment of the iron foundry

1868

Manufacture of the first european positive displacement blower.

1887

The fabrication program includes Positive Displacement blowers, steam locomobiles, threshing machines, fodder chopping machines, hay makers, circular saws and portable forges

1894

The production of agricultural machines is stopped, the production of blowers increases. Supply of cupola melting furnaces, foundry machines, complete forging devices and brewery machines.

1897

The 5.000th blower is produced

1907

Conversion of the Aerzener Maschinenfabrik into an exempt private company. Hermann Allstaedt becomes Managing Director and first associate.

1909

The Aerzen workshops supply blower no. 10.000

1930

Production start for rotary piston gas meters

1936

The 20.000th blower is produced

1942

Generational change: with the death of Hermann Allstaedt his son-in-law, Dipl.-Ing. Karlheinrich Heller, takes over the Management of Aerzener Maschinenfabrik. He initiates the development of the first useful Screw compressor.

1943

Production start for screw compressors

1960

After the death of Karlheinrich Heller Dipl.-Ing Paul Grote takes over the Management

1965

Business School Graduate Hasso Heller takes over the Management.

1967

Development and supply of special screw compressors for air compression

1968

Serial production of oil injected screw compressors for the refrigeration industry

Formation of the subsidiary Aerzen France S.A.S.

Development and supply of oil injected screw compressors for the compressed air industry

The world’s largest screw compressor (conveying volume 65.000 m³/h) built for and supplied to the chemical industry

1987

Formation of the subsidiaries ASP Aerzen Special Products BV and Aerzen Canada Blowers Compressors Inc.

Aerzen develops positive displacement blowers with internal pulsation dampening, this milestone in the design of blowers was patented to the Aerzener Maschinenfabrik GmbH accordingly

Blower no. 250.000 ready for delivery

Certification acc. to DIN ISO 9001 - The AM is one of the first machinebuilding companies which is because of their quality orientation certificated acc. to DIN ISO 9001

Presentation of the world novelty VARISCREW+ - the first semihermetic refrigerating compressor even for ammonia applications

Change to the 4th generation:
Klaus-Hasso Heller, Master in Business and Engineering, takes the lead of the Aerzen group of companies as Chief Executive Officer.

Formation of the subsidiaries Aerzen International Sales GmbH (change of name: Aerzener Maschinenfabrik Verwaltungs- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH is called Aerzen International Sales GmbH since July 2007) and AIR Aerzen International Rental BV

2001

Formation of the subsidiaries Aerzen Finland OY AB, Aerzen Polska SA, Aerzen Hungaria KFT and Aerzen Nederland Holding BV

The new gas meter series is introduced, serial production is starting
