(Brochure "Aerzen and the environmental technology")
Typical application fields for environmental technology are for example aeration of compressed air in biological sewage treatment plants, deep sewage basins in biological sewage treatment plants, aeration of rivers and lakes, filtration installations, desulphurization plants of flue gas, suction and compression of landfill gas, filter scavenging in the water treatment, pneumatic waste transport and gas circulation in fermentation towers. Aerzener products are used for these application fields, e. g.
In over 145 years of experience in the development and manufacture of efficient compressor technologies, Aerzen has produced a range of products unequalled in its depth and breadth. The wide variety of technologies that the company has developed for waste water treatment is unique as well: the Aerzen Turbo Generation 5 blower, the rotary lobe blower Delta Blower, and the Delta Hybrid rotary lobe compressor. With the wide range of models available, these three technologies can be tailored to any kind of plant requirements. In addition, their functionalities are perfectly attuned to one another, meaning they can be used in any combination. After all, Aerzen manufacturers all core components in it own facilities, from the control system on up. This is your guarantee for optimally integrated system design, one that stands for maximum reliability and maximum economy.
Renewable raw materials as a source of energy are becoming more and more important. Aerzener Maschinenfabrik offers the suitable technology for this regenerative and alternative energy including the production as well.
The result of fermenting biomass is an energy-rich biogas consisting of methane and CO2. Up to now, this gas mostly has been converted into electricity in a combined heat and power plant on site. Since a consumer of the generated heat for a more efficient energy use is missing in virtually all applications, biogas is not only to be converted into electricity on site in future, alternatively, it is cleaned up and processed so that it reaches the quality of natural gas. Then this cleansed biogas, called biomethane, has only to be compressed before it can be fed into the required pressures in the natural gas network - 4/8/16 bar for regional networks or 70/90 bar for long-distance energy supply networks. Therefore feed-in plants for biogas are supplied with special customized Aerzen oil-injected screw compressors.
